Since 2013, UpliftED (previously known as the Central Florida College Access Network) has led the effort to address barriers to college and career access, persistence, and attainment in Central Florida.

OUR GOAL

UpliftED has adopted the Lumina Foundation Goal 2025, which is committed to increasing the number of adults in our community with a high quality credential or degree to 60% by 2025. Two-thirds of all jobs created during this decade will require post-secondary education and this goal was created to ensure we have a skilled work-force to meet this need.

I am both humbled and proud to serve as the Director of UpliftED, a much needed collaborative in the Central Florida Region. It connects people, businesses, nonprofits and educational institutions with not only one another, but also to resources that will help increase the number of people with high quality, industry-recognized credentials which may include a degrees. These connections, in turn, strengthen the region’s workforce by closing the skills gap. This work equals a strong economy which supports family financial stability. It is a win-win for everyone in the community.”
